Arundel Jailhouse, an evening of Murder Mystery & Dinner…

It’s a classic case of whodunnit, but taking place in a haunted jailhouse, who is the culprit of the heinous crime? The Arundel Ghost Experience at the Arundel Jailhouse is back this coming January and promises to be a thrilling evening of investigation and dining.

Greeted upon arrival by the ghost of a murder victim, will it be your team that is tasked with solving this complicated and shocking murder? Unfolding in an authentic setting, you’ll be working in teams of 10 to solve the mystery and participating in one of the South Coasts most unique live entertainment experiences.

As an ordinary visitor to the town, you could be forgiven passing the old jailhouse which is set away from the hustle and bustle of the heart of the town.

Nestled at the end of a hidden passage away, it is one of Arundel's best-kept secrets. Passing through the iron cell gate to enter the jailhouse provides an unrivalled insight into what life would have been like inside a Georgian or Victorian prison.

The jailhouse itself was built back in 1836 and was used to house inmates who had been convicted of their crimes in the courtroom that is located just above the jail. It’s long been rumoured to be haunted and often plays host to many paranormal activity groups.

Taking place across numerous Friday and Saturday evenings throughout January, with tickets priced from £24.50, the evening will include a three-course buffet meal.
